Each year we invite members interested in making a personal difference at Tandia to run for election to our Board of Directors.
Tandia Financial Credit Union Board of Directors has a Board complement of nine (9) directors. In 2023, three (3) vacancies need to be filled. The three (3) candidates with the highest vote totals will be elected for a three (3) year term.
Submissions for nominations for the three (3) positions to be filled on the Board of Directors will be accepted by the Chair, Nominating Committee. The Nomination Period commences on Thursday December 1, 2022 and applications will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. Friday December 30, 2022.
A "Director Candidate Information Guide” may be obtained from the office of the President & CEO, or you can visit www.tandia.com to download and print your own copy, on or after, Thursday December 1, 2022. In order to be valid, the Application for Nomination must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Friday December 30, 2022.
The Application for Nomination and all required attachments should be saved as PDF documents with applicable JPEG photo and submitted electronically by email addressed to elections@tandia.com.
As defined in Tandia Financial Credit Union Limited By-Laws and the Board’s Governance policies, the Nominating Committee of the Board plays an integral role in the process of reviewing nominated candidates who meet the eligibility requirements. This Committee is required to evaluate the experience, expertise and qualifications of the candidate in relation to the specific director selection criteria established by the Board from time to time.
Tandia Financial Credit Union Limited elections will be conducted via electronic voting and in branch paper balloting, during the period of March 6, 2023 - March 17, 2023. There will not be nominations from the floor, nor will any voting for directors take place at the Annual General Meeting.
The results of the election will be announced on April 4, 2023 at the Annual General Meeting of Tandia Financial Credit Union.
