Success of HAMILTON COOKS supports Food4Kids in a big way
HAMILTON COOKS was available in Tandia branches and in the participating restaurants and some downtown Hamilton stores and made a perfect holiday gift. By early January, 1,500 copies had been sold, resulting in $30,000 being raised so far. The impact of this donation means an additional 75 children in need will receive a generous shopping bag of healthy food to take home every weekend.
On Wednesday, Tandia was delighted to make the $30,000 cheque presentation to Food4Kids Hamilton at their location at 407 Whitney Avenue. Rachel Osborne, Associate Vice President of Marketing and Business Development and Carla Ricci, Manager of Community Development had the honour of presenting the cheque to Cathy Haan, Executive Director. Many representatives from the restaurants and business partners were there in support as well.
Cathy Haan had this to say about the HAMILTON COOKS experience,
“What a powerful impact Tandia and this amazing group of Hamilton restaurants and businesses have created together. This donation will help us increase our current reach of 1,300 children being nutritiously fed each weekend. On behalf of all of us at Food4Kids, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

A limited number of HAMILTON COOKS cookbooks are still available for sale at Tandia locations, with all proceeds distributed to Food4Kids Hamilton until sold out.
