Tandia’s Downtown Hamilton Branch has moved to a brand-new location

The new location features the latest in advice-based financial services design and provides the ultimate in comfort, convenience and accessibility plus adjacent free parking. With revised hours due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the branch is currently open from 10 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.  Entrance screening, social distance floor markers, plexi-glass barriers, hand sanitizer and mandatory face-coverings are all in place to ensure a safe experience for both staff and members requiring essential in-branch services.

The branch layout incorporates inviting lounge-like collaboration spaces for both in-person and virtual member appointments. Tandia has also invested in the latest technology for this new branch with a multi-denominational centralized cash recycler that eliminates the traditional teller line and enables the entire retail team to service members’ transactional needs from any space in the branch. 

Outside, an accessible ATM provides 24/7 cash access in multiple denominations including $50 bills, dispenses US currency and no envelopes are required for deposits.

Richard Davies, Tandia’s President and Chief Executive Officer expressed, “Since the sale of 75 James Street South, we have eagerly awaited the relocation and re-opening of this new Downtown Hamilton branch. The new location will help us better serve both our current and next-generation of members and bring our fresh take on financial services to an up-and-coming area of Hamilton.”

While the new branch construction was delayed longer than expected due to the pandemic, our branch team is excited to now be up and running in this beautiful new location. We look forward to serving members and watching this branch grow for many years to come.”

With all the challenges of 2020, Tandia is delighted to have this new location open for its Hamilton membership and local community. A Grand Opening Celebration will be planned and take place at a future date when the time is right.
